Absinthe Recipes

The Orange Fairy

1 oz Red Absinthe
1/2 oz Curacao
1 tsp lemon juice
2 tsp orange juice
1 orange slice

1. Mix ingredients together in a martini shaker
2. Pour mixture into a champagne glass filled with crushed ice
3. Garnish with orange slice and serve

The Green Fairy

1 oz Absinthe
1 oz water
2 tsp egg white
1 dash Angostura Bitters
Juice of 1 lemon

1. Mix ingredients together in a martini shaker with ice and shake thoroughly
2. Strain into martini or absinthe glass and serve

Fairy from Hell

2 oz Absinthe
1 oz lemonade
2 oz Red Bull
2 oz ginger Ale
1 oz apple juice

1. Mix ingredients together in a martini shaker
2. Pour mixture into a tall glass filled with crushed ice and serve

The Absinthe Minded Martini

1/2 oz Absinthe
3 oz gin
1/2 oz Grand Marnier
1 Orange peel
Dry Vermouth

1. Mix gin and absinthe into a martini shaker and mix.
2. Swirl ½ oz of Dry Vermouth in a chilled martini glass and pour out remainder
3. Pour shaker contents into glass and float the Grand Marnier on top

Absinthe Paralysis

1 oz Absinthe
3 oz lemon lime soda
3 oz milk
2 tsp sugar

1. Mix all ingredients thoroughly together in martini shaker
2. Pour over ice in a tall glass

Black Fairy

2/3 oz blackberry liquor
1/3 oz Absinthe

1. Fill a shot glass with the blackberry liquor.
2. Slowly pour the absinthe into the glass over the liqueur so that it forms a top layer

Surfer Girl

1 1/2 oz Absinthe
1 tbsp lemon juice
1 tsp sugar
1 egg white
Soda Water

1. Shake first 4 ingredients with ice in martini shaker
2. Pour into a glass and fill with soda water

Berry Absinthe Jello Shots

6 oz strawberry Jello
16 oz bowling water
10 oz cold water
6 oz Red Absinthe

1. Melt Jello with bowling water in a medium sized bowl. Stir until melted
2. Pour in cold water and Red Absinthe
3. Pour into shot glasses or little paper cups and set in the fridge.
